Wildfires and controlled burns

Because of the risks they run during wildfires, fire fighters often ask for a thermal protection that exceeds the demands of the EN 15614 standard regarding the battle against fires in natural areas. Yellow is the most conspicuous colour in forest fires, controlled burns and stubble burning.

It is very important to be seen from the ground but also from the sky by water bombers and helicopters.

The secret of a good equipment lies in a good protection but also in a well-studied confection.

Therefore we use our complex "DF Nomex®Tough RS Aramid mesh" that was espescially developed for those missions.

Much attention was paid to the confection: the jacket is equipped with a high collar closed with a large Velcro patch (the tip of the central zip flap). It has 4 large pockets with fold and little grab straps for easy handling.

The shoulders of a fire fighter have to endure a lot, that's why we added protection foam on the shoulders between two layers of fabric.

The design of the sleeves is very confortable and doesn't interfere with your movements. The cuffs can be adjusted with Velcro.

The loose-fitted trousers are also adapted to the missions of wildfires and are very comfortable. They have two cargo pockets. The weight is divided over the shoulders thanks to the large braces which improves comfort. The lower legs can be adjusted with Velcro to avoid the penetration of burning vegetation particles and heat. Several wildfire teams in Southern France use this suit every summer.

Hivis stripings

Retroreflective striping - silver glass beads (50 mm)

This striping with a minimum width of 50 mm takes advantage of glass beads to reflect the light to make the wearer of the suit visible in dangerous circumstances. In accordance with the requirements of the EN 471/EN ISO 20471.
